i practice and teach yoga. i repair bikes. i dream and create and i am often on the verge of something: breaking down, breaking through, breaking up, breaking hearts, breaking things or just myself.
i am a long-time grad student. finishing one masters in community health & epidemiology. in '09 off to do portland or maybe dublin to do another masters in urban planning.
i am a socialist and a feminist. individualist and reductionist world views make me mental.
i've changed a lot in my life. i drew strength from my transition, hard as it was at times. i am powerful and not weak. i am sexy and i love myself and am very much loved.
whle some things change, others don't. i've always been an activist. i've always been driven, i've always had a big heart and big dreams, i've always been fiercely independent.
i don't eat gluten and am ashamed to shop in health food stores. i have powders that i add to things and i drink smoothies in the morning.
i like to fuck and be fucked. i like to swim, i like to do ashtanga yoga, i like to cook elaborate meals, i like to bike really hard, really far, and really fast.
i would like to meet others with interests and hearts and minds. i would like to go places with you.
